Worst Appreciated Cars

You might have heard many times about the very valuable cars that are receiving some great response from the customer’s side but how about the other side of scenario, the cars which failed to get a good response from the customer’s side may be because of performance, style or any other factor. A recent list of worst appreciated cars have been calculated with the help of US Department of Labor’s Consumer Price Index and also from the reports of NADA (the National Automobile Dealers Association) and this list contains models of all times and there is no restriction of the recent cars only.

1. Chevrolet SSR

This is a very excitingly new designed retractable hardtop convertible pickup truck that was manufactured by Chevrolet. The overall style of this car was very nice when GM firstly showed up their production but the excitement ended when this car was revealed; this was because of the fact that the company changed the looks of car into a one which failed to get huge applause of the customers. Other than that the 5.3 liter V8 engine with only 300horsepower was also a factor which carries the cars reputation towards negativity. Thus some points of the company can’t prove to be helpful for the sale of this car and it is considered as the worst valued car of all time.

2. Ford Excursion

This is another poorly valued car of all times though it has come from the Ford motor corp. which is thought to be the experts of heavy duty vehicles and trucks. Some time ago you might have remembered a very tough competition of Chevy and Ford over the SUV’s and Ford had won that competition with its models but the Excursion proved to be unlucky for the company because it decrease the company’s sale’s graph rather than increasing and the reason might be its quite high price and the large size was also difficult when considered in terms of riving and parking.

3. Volkswagen Phaeton

This is the full size luxury sedan produced by Volkswagen passenger cars but unfortunately this car failed to attract most of the European customers which might be because the style of this car was not new for any one and also according to some customers the width of this car was quite more than required for the most of the normal roads and the length was also an issue in terms of parking. Because of being too much massive car it also sometimes fails to provide the comfort which is imagined for any luxury car.

4. Yugo GV

It was one among those models which failed to get the users attraction right from the first day of its release and the reason being its low speed, power and outdated design. This car proved to be very bad for the US highways because it was too light to make being passed by 18-wheelers with comfort and its top speed was also 80 that really not sounds very exciting one. The engine is also reported to be a bit noisy for such cars and thus this model is not well for those who want complete comfort while driving their car.

5. Bricklin SV-1

This car was a really amazing model at that time because of its very new style and it was named after Malcolm Bricklin who has tried to bring more profit for Sabro by the production of this model but it doesn’t proved to be lucky for the company for long period of time and it was unable to achieve an exciting sale rate.
