The car looks very small but the interior is surprisingly spacious with enough leg room, head room and shoulder room.

Under the hood of the Tata Nano Police is a 624cc 2 cylinder Petrol engine generating 37.5 bhp and 51 NM torque whereas the CNG version of the Tata Nano is less powerful generating 32bhp and 45 NM torque. The fuel economy of the Tata Nano Police is another competitive advantage over the rest of police cars as it covers 25 km/l. No diesel version is offered yet however, we can expect it in the near future.
