Porsche Launches 2014 Panamera Lineup for the US Enthusiasts
The 2014 Porsche Panamera family gets three new models including two luxurious executive models and one plug-in hybrid model, the Panamera S E-Hybrid. The luxurious executive models are based on the Panamera 4S and Panamera Turbo whereas the E-hybrid model is an all new formula and is the first plug-in hybrid of the Porsche.
The executive versions of the Porsche Panamera based on Panamera Turbo and Panamera 4S gets an extended wheelbase by 5.9 inches to deliver more rear space and comfort. The new executive models get increased by 20 horsepower and 15 lb ft of torque. The fuel economy has also increased by four percent. With the help of increased power, the models now accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds at a top speed up to 189 mph. All executive models get full leather upholstery, adaptive air suspension paired with Porsche’s Active Suspension Management (PASM) and a long list of high tech comfort and convenience features.
The Panamera S E-Hybrid model gets power from a 95 horsepower electric battery paired with a newly built 9.4 kWh lithium ion battery pack. The model can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds and at a top speed up to 167 mph. A standard Porsche charger (AC) and an integrated on board charging system charges the vehicle in two and a half hours via a 240 volt power station.
All these new variants are loaded with conventional class leading features inside and out for a style statement, comfort, convenience and satisfaction of the customers. Recently, the Porsche Cars North America announced that the extended lineup of the 2014 Porsche models is now offered to the dealer showrooms in the Us. The 2014 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid gets a price tag of $99,000, the Porsche Panamera 4S Executive gets a price tag of $125,600 and the Porsche Turbo Executive cost you $161,100.
