Porsche 911 GT3 RSR Marked 2nd Position in Grand AM ROLEX Sports Car Series
If you are crazy for “Need for Speed” kind of racing competitions and a fan of Porsche cars we have good news for you. Grand AM ROLEX Series racing competition was held in Lexington Ohio and Porsche 911 GT3 RSR stood second in the race.
First 30 minutes of this race were very crucial and Andy Lally employed smart driving tactics. While explaining his strategies Lally said, “We made up so much time in the pits we got out ahead of the other Porsches and had a good battle with the guys. We got lucky. Those boys got racy at the front and hit each other and went off and got penalties and we’re leading the points. I can’t say enough for John [Potter] and this crew for doing such a good job today.”
Lindsey was driving the Park Place Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 and marked fifth position in this race. In such a tough competition, it’s a good position. Lindsey said, “We’re pleased to get a top five out of a difficult race. We had a good car but we got held up by traffic early on in my stint. I was able to hand over a really good car to Patrick [Long] but we had problems executing in the pits. They were small things otherwise I am confident we would have been on the podium. We’re excited to have a top-five for our friends at Park Place back in Dallas and our Children’s Tumor Foundation NF Heroes.”
Grand AM ROLEX Competition is now moving to New York. If you live in New York you must not miss to see this thrilling competition. On 30th of June, Rolex Series Racing Competition will held for 6 Hours in Upstate New York.
