Ford motors is planning to bring the most capable heavy duty truck for the international auto markets and these vehicles are also reported to be the most fuel efficient and capable as ever produced in the history of Ford motors. The Super duty series which is going to hit the markets in the next year will carry Ford’s entire new 6.7 liter Power stroke V8 turbocharged engine which will be having 735 lb-ft of torque, 390 horsepower and very remarkable fuel economy. The company is also claiming that they will being a 6.2 liter V8 engine as well with 385 torque and the horsepower up to 4.5lb-ft.
The chief diesel engineering manager of the company, Adam Gryglak said in a statement “Torque is essentially the force generated by the engine to do work, so the higher the torque level, the more that work can be accomplished in terms of towing capacity” and he further discussed that “The new Power Stroke diesel enables class-leading towing capability at faster speeds, all with best-in-class fuel economy”. Thus the new range coming from the company’s side is really going to an exciting one that will offers plethora of goodies for the heavy duty vehicle drivers.
