John Hennessey has just announced the successor version of Venom GT, which reportedly be the fastest production car in the world. Named as Venom F5, this super sports car might go as fast as 466 km/h.

Hennessey Venom F5 will achieve the set benchmark using a 7.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine that would produce 1,400bhp. The car will encompass major modifications including extended intercooler and turbo sizes, upgraded fuel system, advanced carbon-fiber exterior and improved aerodynamics.

Bugatti Veyron SS is currently known as the fastest production car with a top speed of 430 km/h. Although Hennessey Venom GT has claimed to hit 435 km/h last year, it still remains unofficial. The new Venom F5 will be unveiled next year. Once all 29 Venom GTs are delivered, F5 will go for production and will be out on streets by 2016.

Although the monetary value of upcoming Venom F5 has not yet been communicated, the price will certainly be above $1.2 million, the current price of a Venom GT. It will only be seen after the production of first Venom F5, whether it takes the Guinness top speed crown from Bugatti Veyron SS or remains unendorsed like Venom GT.
