GM Auctioning Cooksey’ Corvette Z06 for the Fund Relief Effort for Haiti

Like some other big companies of the world GM has also started benefiting the Haiti relief efforts by auctioning its limited edition model of Chevrolet Corvette 427 Z06. It has been notified by the company that the GM design boss Ed Welburn will introduce the car at the Barrett Jackson auction on Saturday in Scottsdale, Ariz. The money that will be collected by the automaker will be donated to the American Red cross to fund its work in earthquake-devastated Haiti. Before announcing this auction GM had earlier donated $100,000 to the Red Cross for the Haiti relief efforts.
The Chevrolet Corvette 427 is actually the 427 model built for North America and the only 2008 Z06 painted red metallic. This new sports car is featuring some very fantastic specifications and the main among them are 7.0 liter V8 engine which produces the power up to 505hp. The design is also amazing with the spider-designed Z06 wheels, a strange style hood stripe, chrome exterior badging and a rear spoiler which all ads up to the dashing looks of this car. The car is also very stylish from the interior side with dark titanium leather and a red center trim plate. The capabilities of this car are fantastic and it is expected to earn huge money for the company which will be funded for the relief of effected people of Haiti earthquake.
