The championship is scheduled from 3-4 August, 2013 at Moscow Raceway Circuit. For that, the DTM team has to transport all the equipment and cars from Affalterbach to Moscow.

Keeping the tight schedule in sight, they have put their fate in the most trusted transportation name, Mercedes Benz. The Mercedes teamed up with AMG DTM and a total of six new Benz Actros have embarked on a journey of 2600 kilometers to reach the destination in time.

The organizers are confident that the mighty Actros will do the job in time, this is not the first time AMG relied on Benz for such a daunting job, as they do this all around the year. Mercedes is synonymous to reliability and confidence.

The caravan will cross Germany, Poland and Lithuania and reach Russia after crossing Latvia. The said journey is estimated to be covered in four days. Actros is a proven motor sport transportation truck, a symbol of reliability and might perfected by German engineering.

The trucks are designed for comfort and reliability, and they support advanced and intelligent features like Lane Keeping Assist and Proximity Control Assist with stop-and-go functions. Moreover, the spacious and comfortable cabin helps the crew and drivers from succumbing into fatigue during such monotonous journeys. Benz CharterWay tractor vehicles will also be a part of the caravan, they will be transporting cars, spare parts and other components for the pit garages.
