3 Mustang Classics to be Auctioned at Barrett-Jackson Event Next Month

The seventh annual Barrett-Jackson event to be held at Palm Beach, Fla. next month and it will be in this event when 3 Mustang classics to be auctioned there. Ford Shelby GT500 will be the first headliner, while the other two cars based on the concepts that were launched in 2003. It is expected that all the three vehicles to be sold well ahead of a standard Mustang price. The Shelby has been adorned with Kuna Blue paint and white stripes and it houses a supercharged ultra-powerful 5.4-liter engine that pushes 500-hp.

Scion tC Release Series 5.0 to debut at Chicago auto show

There are chances that the Honda Insight Hybrid may perhaps have the price tag under $20,000 in the United States and Honda is also looking forward to buy it if they manage to pull out some sales this year and match their target of selling 100,000 a year. However, it would be difficult to meet the targets. The comparison of the yen against the dollar would make the price of $20,000 a bit too much for the usual five seater gasoline-electric car. This car is expected to go out in the American market by April and would be the biggest challenge to the Toyota Prius. In addition, the global economic crunch as well as the declining gasoline prices would further undercut the demand in the dethroning hybrid market.
