It has been reported by Chevrolet that the Carbon Corvette No. 1 will cross the block on April 3 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in the Palm Beach and it is expected by all of the auto experts that like the previous model this one will also be a blusterous one from the company. Jim Campbell, Chevrolet marketing vice president while discussing about this releases said that “The Corvette Z06 Carbon will surely be an instant collectible” and further discussed “For that reason, we see Barrett-Jackson as the premiere venue to sell the first retail Z06 Carbon”.

This new carbon machine will actually mark the 50th anniversary and the style brought for this model is extremely dashing and a powerful one, the model is adorned with dashing blacked-out headlamps and mirrors, black 20-spoke wheels and pure black carbon fiber rocker panel. Some other body parts have been also decorated with the pure black carbon fiber and all of them collaboratively make this car a lavishing black dragon which will be a thrill along with fun to drive. While talking about the capabilities of this model Tadge Juechter, Corvette chief engineer said that “For track use, the Z06 Carbon is the best balanced Corvette yet” and he further said “It combines the lightweight and naturally aspirated Z06 engine with the road-holding and braking of the ZR1”. Thus we can expect the 50th anniversary is going to get rock because of this ultra-stylish and powerful model.
