3 Mustang Classics to be Auctioned at Barrett-Jackson Event Next Month
The seventh annual Barrett-Jackson event to be held at Palm Beach, Fla. next month and it will be in this event when 3 Mustang classics to be auctioned there.
Ford Shelby GT500 will be the first headliner, while the other two cars based on the concepts that were launched in 2003. It is expected that all the three vehicles to be sold well ahead of a standard Mustang price.
The Shelby has been adorned with Kuna Blue paint and white stripes and it houses a supercharged ultra-powerful 5.4-liter engine that pushes 500-hp.
A silver GT coupe and a red GT convertible are two other concepts, they both serve as autotypes of the fifth-generation Mustang retro would look like.
There are 20” wheels in the convertible with Rambo brakes, billet automatic shift knob and cross drilled rotors.
There is a glass roof with a red and charcoal interior in the coupe and it supports a really practical hood scoop.
Ford is quite well-acquainted what auctions are all about. The company has raised over $2m for charity by auctioning different sort of vehicles that would be the part of their great history. The auction of the first concept to be done for a Juvenile Diabetic foundation, while the GT500 to benefit a Children Foundation of Carroll Shelby.
