2011 BMW 5 series: Bavaria’s midsize sedan trying to capture some looks of 7 series

BMW is always of the trend that it gives new design and features on its every new launch but this appetite of innovations has been stopped for some time. But now the newly coming 6th generation of the 5-series is reassuring of the new design which has followed the design features of some predecessors.

Although not exactly same as the predecessor, it has got some the outlook features of newly arrived 7 series.  According to Adrian van Hooydonk the new design chef of BMW “We’ve attempted to match elegance and sportiness together in equal measure to give a unique personality. But at the same time, we’ve been careful not to stray too far from traditional 5-series visual qualities”.

Some of the most exciting features of this car are its full steely unibody, claimed to be 55 percent stiffer than the earlier, land-departure warning, heads up display, night vision with pedestrian detection and some others are making it unique from the other models by BMW. The developers are claiming of this car’s more compliancy and refinement than the old 5-series. So now the whole world is desperately waiting for the time when this series would be launched so that they can see with their own eyes if all the BMW’s claims were true or not.
