In the previous month huge criticism has been seen for the Toyota’s accelerator’s problem and this thing has made the company to work more in recalling more users to seek the fixes and it hopes to distribute mailings this week to the 2.3 million owners targeted in a January recall. According to the company it is not easy to reach all the affected users in a short span of time and it also happens that sometime users doesn’t responds to the recall mail sent by the company.

The goal of the company is to get maximum cars fixed in the shortest possible time and the reason for this might be that many complaints have been reported against the company in the last years. One allegation in a lawsuit filed against the company in the last June was mainly concerned over broken steering rods that Toyota was lax in notifying nearly 1 million owners targeted in an October 2005 recall and the Dec 20006 fewer than a third of 977,839 recalled vehicles have been inspected and repaired as reported by the documents from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. But now Toyota has started the repairing tasks more actively and the shipments of repair parts have also started for US and some other markets and hopefully the company will get out of all this mess very soon.
