The world largest car maker ‘Toyota’ has announced that it will extent the call recall for Europe over the problems with acceleration pedals and this decision was made after the suspension of US sale of eight models. And now the recalling has been extended to European models and in a statement the company said that it would directly communicate with European customers with vehicles that are affected by problem of accelerator pedal mechanism.
According to a statement provided by the company “Toyota is making every effort to address this situation for our customers as quickly as possible” and they have also said that problem is rare and the customers who are having this problem should contact the company before the issuing of recall instructions. Toyota has shown that the affected car may give the feeling to driver that pedal is harder to depress and slower to return and the company explained this mechanism by saying that “A rough or chattered feeling may also be experienced when depressing/releasing the accelerator pedal”. This whole activity by the company is raising the company’s reputation in the international auto markets and this problem will be soon completely removed thus making it once again the leader of international auto markets.
