The Recall announced, this is a sentence that is one of the most frequently heard one in nowadays auto industry, earlier we have heard Toyota’s recall then Ford’s, Chevrolet’s and other companies and now Chevrolet is back with another recall. The General Motors has recently announced that they are going to recall the 2005 and 2006 models for some steering-column problem.  It has been reported that about 40,000 models have been developed between March 2004 and January 2006 and there are great chances of them to be affected.

The actual report was provided by National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) and it says that the recall will be applied to both tilt and telescoping steering wheels, over the time the signals travelling through the steering wheel could become corrupted and this situation results in an error statement. The whole situation described is also reported to be such dangerous for the sports cars that it can make them pull towards right or left that can become the source of a major accident. The expected date for the start for this recall for April 30 and hopefully this passage of recall for the Corvette would have started.
