North America Getting New 4-Door Fiat 500

Fiat 500 Fiat is considered to be one of the hottest brands for the Chrysler showrooms for 2010 because of the beautiful style small design and nice specifications. Ford has recently announced that it is bringing a four-door version of the 500 small cars for the North American markets and it is reported that this vehicle will hit the European markets in 2011 still the timings for the US markets has not been shown. This amazingly beautiful small car has been code named as Lo and will be classified as small minivan in Europe. The new Fiat 500 model will enhance the Fiat status as small cars especially because the design and looks have been made more enhanced. The company is also claiming that they will launch the performance version of 500 in 2012 and it will be marketed under the Abarth brand. Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne has not yet given any further details of this new model but it is expected that he will reveal the details on Wednesday when he is supposed to show the company’s 5 year plan on Wednesday so we have to wait for that time to get to know more about this amazing model.

Fiat Doblo: the Chrysler’s fighter against Ford compact

Chrysler Group’s new Ram brand is now planning to bring a new version of Fiat Doblo in the United States. This new nicely developed van will fight against the compact Ford’s vans and the competition would prove to be the toughest ever in the history as both competitors are best of the bests. The Doblo will join the large Fiat based van to be sold in US by the new RAM truck brand along with some restyled chassis cab model and light and heavy duty vehicles. So this is going to be a very out class competition. With the new range, Chrysler expects to boost Ram sales to 415,000 by 2014, up from 280,000 in 2010. The new Doblo has got some very fantastic features.

North American Products are excepted of getting the Fiat dual Clutch Transmission

The news have been coming from many media sources that Chrysler Group’s power train lineup will be transformed from the one that is dominated by larger displacement engines to the one that is  dominated by Fiat-derived four-cylinder engines, V6s and, then  eventually, the electric vehicles would be showed in front of the whole world in the next five years. Bringing on electrical vehicles now days is becoming one of the major concerns of many automobile companies. Many of them have revealed such kind of plans and some are expected to reveal this news in front of media in the coming days. Coming back to the Fiat’s declaration: according to them the first dual clutch transmission will appear on a new D-segment vehicle at the end of 2010.
