NISMO Inspired New Nissan GT-R may Debut in 2018
The Japanese automaker Nissan seems all set to debut all-new Nissan GT-R in 2018. This was affirmed by Shiro Nakamura, Chief Creative Officer of Nissan Motor Company, while speaking to the British automotive magazine, Top Gear.
According to Nakamura, the company has initiated working on the next generation Nissan GT-R. However, this will take some years to conclude what they have started. The official was also questioned about the computer rendered designs delivered by various Nissan fans, on which he commented ‘none of those is even close to what is being developed’.
However, the official pointed out that the new GT-R may derive its design elements and accents from the Nissan’s Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo, which can be virtually driven in Sony Grand Turismo 6.
Coming to the existing GT-R, it is no less than a monster, being equipped with a 3.6 liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing up to 545 horsepower and 630 Nm torque. The Nissan GT-R is an acclaimed vehicle in the racing world, which retains loads of achievements under its name. All eyes are now set on the efficiency and elegance of the upcoming 2+2 sports coupe.
