This is great news for all those new Leaf owners, as they can now charge their cars for free across the country at any of the thousands of public charging stations. Called – No Charge to Charge program, the new program will go on for 2 years.
There are more than 2,600 stations across the country and some major cities that will offer the promotion are Houston, Nashville, Portland, Ore, Dallas, Sacramento, San Diego, Phoenix, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, etc. If your favorite city is not in the list, well, don’t worry, as Nissan plans to expand and cover more areas and stations.
The all-electric Nissan LEAF boasts of much lower operating costs, and now, with free public charging, the costs go even lower. The LEAF battery gets charged from 0 to 80 % in less than half an hour. Los Angeles has always been the favorite markets in the world for electric car sales.
