
Mazda Reveals Fuel Consumption Data And Variant Names For CX-3
About six weeks after the Australian launch, Mazda confirmed that its CX-3 range will have a variant name, Akari. The Japanese car’s line-up promises a mix of models of different grades.
This petrol, automatic, front – wheel – drive has a rating of 6.1 liters for 100 kilometers while the diesel variant has a rating of 4.8l/100km.
The local range of CX-3 comes equipped with a 2.0 – liter petrol engine with a rating of 109kW/192Nm while the 1.5-liter diesel engine has a rating of 77kW/270Nm. They also have a six-speed automatic and manual transmission and a front – wheel and all – wheel drive.
Mazda is yet to reveal the exact structure of this line up along with the price, although suggestions have been made by the Managing Director of Mazda Australia that it may be priced in the range of $19,990 (excluding the on – road costs).
