Los Angeles Auto Show – The Latest on Auto

The wait is finally over. LA Auto Show was successful in grabbing eyeballs as more than 50 vehicles made their debut here. The spectators had a glimpse of most modern advancements in automotive technology that would soon make be visible on the driveways all over the country very soon. Micah Muzio, editor, Kelley Blue Book summed up what was hot in the first auto show of the 2012 season.

Initiating way back in 1907, the Los Angeles Auto Show is held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in November or December every year. Boasting of an illustrious history, LA Auto Show gives the fans the chance to see major models from Frankfurt, like Mazda CX-5, BMW M5, Volvo’s Concept You. But the main focus remains on Hyundai Elantra Coupe, Infiniti JX and Azera.

Kelley Blue Book sums up the LA Auto Show, held at Los Angeles Convention Center on  Figueroa Street.    The show was highlighted by 25 press conferences. This was certainly a bright spot for the economy, as the auto industry maintained its momentum at the L.A .show. With confirmations of 20 world premieres and with more to be announced, it is sure a great going.

As Muzio states, it is clear that automakers understand what the consumers want sand have time, money and technology in the right direction to deliver as per the needs of the consumers. One can see marked reduction in carbon emissions with significant improvement in performance and design. A couple of lucky consumers will get to test drive these awesome vehicles on select days.

The entrants that left an impact were Fiat 500 Abarth, and STI-themed concept edition of the Subaru BRZ sports car. Other automakers that displayed some original products were Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Lincoln, Honda.  It was a visual delight for the fans of the automobiles.
