The Volkswagen team has struck an interesting deal with Wilhelm Karmann GmbH cutting at least a lot of coachworks with special builder activities.
They can now reorganize their company and really focus on building sturdy electric power cars. There are unsourced reports in Neue Osnabruecker Zeitung that these can be found at Bloomberg. These are also other reports on HLN.be.
The EV deal is coming to be about 20 million euros itself and the reaping profits from them are generally expected to be multiplied by 2011.
Karmann had also showed off an EV concept in early 2009 with the E3Limo.
