
Infiniti Reveals the All-New Powerful Engine for Q50 Eau Rouge Concept Car
Earlier this year, Infiniti exhibited its stunning high performance concept car, Q50 Eau Rouge. Now, the manufacturer has revealed facts about its powerhouse. At the 2014 Geneva International Motor Show, Infiniti displayed the powerful engine, specially designed and developed for the Q50 Eau Rouge. The potent specs of this engine certainly build the image of Eau Rouge in premium sports sedan segment.
Engine Specifications and Performance
The engine under consideration is a Twin Turbo 3.6 liter V6 with 7-speed transmission and All-Wheel drive layout. The heat production capacity of 560 horsepower and 600 Nm Torque provide this sedan the ability to compete with the top rated sports cars. The said machine owns a 3799cc, 24-Valve gasoline engine with equal split to front and rear wheels. Such measurements would allow the Eau Rouge to touch 100 km/h in less than four seconds, while the stated top speed is 290 km/h. This engine is up till now, Infiniti’s finest and the most powerful development for any vehicle segment.
Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept
The concept is based on Infiniti’s production model Q50 and inspired by Formula One. Revealed for the first time at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in January, this premium sports sedan has got the best from Infiniti so far. Since its revelation, the powertrain details were kept under wraps.
On the same occasion, Infiniti unleashed a 2.0 liter turbo engine for its flagship sedan, Q50. This gasoline engine is capable of displacing 1991cc to produce 211 horsepower and 320 Nm of Torque. The rear-wheel drive engine, accompanied with a 7-speed automatic transmission, will debut in 2015 Q50 production.
Although Infiniti Motor Company has not yet confirmed the production of Q50 Eau Rouge, the rapid developments and revelations indicate that the Japanese manufacturer is dedicated to give it a practical shape.
