
Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept First Appearance at 2014 North American International Auto Show
It has not even been a year since the release of Infiniti Q50, and the manufacturer now has presented the concept of its first formula one inspired sports sedan at North American International Auto Show, Detroit. Its images have already been revealed by Infiniti.
Set in an existing lineup, the vehicle has a number of new design features that distinguish it from Q50. Eau Rouge appears to be much dropped down, as it sits low on the ground. With the extended front and rear fenders, the vehicle seems much wider from both the front and back. This gives it an angry look that a sports car deserves.
The inner setting reflects the sports look with a number of inclusions. Comprehensive Carbon Fiber blesses the interior with elegance and sturdiness at the same time. Moreover, the sports steering wheel with outstanding grip and paddle shifters resembling to Formula One conclude a pure sporty internal look.
The Eau Rouge takes its basic inspiration from Infiniti Red Bull Racing, which stood champion in Formula One racing for four times. The teamwork of specialists and engineers from Infiniti production house and the racing crew, has ensued such a creation.
The prudently fashioned aerodynamic features let the car to gain its desired pace. A large deck lid spoiler is molded in such a way that it directs the air pressure downward, yielding a high level of torque. The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept derived from Formula One is expected to feature a hefty V-cylinder engine with a capacity of 500 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. This new fascination Infiniti is projected to hit the tracks somewhere in 2014.
Rounding up its twenty five years here in NAIAS and partnering with Formula One, this subsidiary of Nissan Motor Company looks to be much dedicated with its rapidly advancing design, luxury, and speed.
