Chevrolet Makes 2016 Camaro Smaller, Lighter and Faster
Chevrolet has been paying attention to what the customers wants and therefore they have decided to come up with the next generation 2016 Camaro that will be lighter than the current version. While announcing the production of the all new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro GM Product Boss Mark Russ said that they understand that cars should be lighter and therefore they will come up with a lighter version that performs equally well. He mentioned that the new car will also have increased safety standards and measures and will be technologically better than most of the current vehicles.
It is said that the new Camaro will be based on GM’s Alpha platform, the one that is currently used by Cadillac ATS. However, Chevrolet said that they understand that with more development cars are becoming heavier, but the new Camaro will be more like the new Corvette and they will be working on the physics of the car to get better performance. It is also said that the new car will be slightly smaller than the current version and will use the turbocharged four cylinder engine to rival Ford Mustang although it is not confirmed so far. The new compact 2016 Camaro will go on sale in the second half of 2015 and Chevrolet is still working on the teaser photos of the vehicle.
