2016 Cadillac CTS-V Available from Summer 2015
The new CTS-V sedan from Cadillac is expected to outrun its other German competitors on many fronts, including price. Priced at $83,995 (apart from the $995 destination charge), the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is actually priced lower than the 560-hp BMW M5 and the 550-hp Mercedes Benz E-63 AMG.
The car is powered by a 6.2-liter V-8 that produces 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, enabling it to go from 0 to 60 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 200 mph (321.86 km/h), thus making it one of the fastest four-door sedans in the world.
The standard equipment includes General Motor’s Magnetic Ride Control magnetorheological adaptive suspension, Brembo brakes, 19-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, a carbon-fiber hood, carbon-fiber trim and sueded micro-fiber interior. The car is expected to go on sale later this summer with many dealers already accepting orders.
